YOSHIMITSU TAKANO

Takano Yoshimitsu was born in Aomori, Japan in 1971. After working under the supervision of the influential Toshio Enomoto while at Enomoto Studio, he moved on to become a freelance photographer. His first photograph collection, "AKIBA-BIYORI", was published in September 2006 and reflects Takano's take on the unique sub-culture that is thriving in Akihabara.
"AKIBA-BIYORI" has been a major success, being exhibited not only throughout Japan, but also North America as well. Takano currently lives in Tokyo and is working on a variety of projects.
